About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL A Hazmat Driver for a regional, multi-state driving position based in Kingman, Arizona. This role includes multi-stop routes, touch freight, overnight travel, and sleeper berth layovers of up to five days per week. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with the potential to become permanent.

Pay & Schedule

• $27.50 per hour
• 40 hours per week
• Regional routes based out of Kingman, Arizona
• Overtime after 40 hours
• $30 per diem or layover pay for each qualifying layover
• Dispatch times and workdays vary based on route requirements

Job Details

• Route type: Regional, multi-state, and multi-stop routes
• Freight: Hardware and related products
• Freight handling: Touch freight with manual unloading as required
• Equipment: Tandem-axle sleeper tractor, dry van trailer, manual pallet jack, liftgate, and rollers
• Overnight travel with sleeper berth layovers
• Electronic logging and delivery systems required

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle on multi-state regional routes.
• Deliver and pick up hardware and related products at multiple locations.
• Complete multi-stop routes with overnight sleeper berth layovers.
• Unload freight using a manual pallet jack, liftgate, rollers, or hand unloading when required.
• Secure and handle freight throughout each route.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation.
• Operate required electronic systems and applications.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Hazmat endorsement
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to operate multi-stop regional routes and complete multi-state runs
• Comfort with touch freight and manual unloading
• Ability to stay overnight in a sleeper berth
• Ability to operate required electronic systems and applications
