Job Details

This local CDL A Driver position is based in Avondale, Arizona, and pays an average of $1700 per week. You will make customer deliveries throughout the greater Phoenix area, with routes that may include Blythe, California, Safford, Payson, and Tucson. This is a TransForce driving opportunity with support from a dedicated team in a safety-focused role.

Pay & Schedule

• Days vary
• Yard dispatch begins at 4:00 AM, with route dispatch between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM
• Component pay - weekly average $1700

• Mileage: $0.56 per mile

• Stops: $18.08 per stop
• Pre-trip/Post-trip: $17.08 per completed trip
• Delays and regular route time: $21.37 per hour
• Route overtime: $32.04 per hour
• Yard time: $23.10 per hour
• Yard overtime: $34.65 per hour

What You'll Be Doing

• Drive single-axle and tandem-axle day cabs.
• Operate 40-foot, 48-foot, and 53-foot refrigerated trailers, along with 48-foot dry vans.
• Deliver products to end customers throughout the greater Phoenix area.
• Handle heavy-touch freight using a liftgate, dolly, and manual pallet jack.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and required delivery paperwork.
• Provide safe, professional service during customer-facing deliveries.

What You Need

• Valid CDL A
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
• DOT medical card
• English proficiency as required by federal regulation
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to safely enter and exit the vehicle and cargo area
