Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, 30 min unpaid lunch

Job Description:

Ferguson Enterprises is seeking a Class A flatbed driver to deliver waterworks materials, including pipes, valves, and fittings. Drivers will operate a 48 ft flatbed semi and a 550 flatbed with a 20 ft automatic trailer. Most deliveries are local, with the furthest distance being approximately 2.5 hours. Sit-down forklift operation is required.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) minimum
• At least 1 year of experience driving the class of vehicle assigned
• State-issued self-certification for non-excepted interstate, with proof

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials on time and validate directions
• Unload or assist in unloading materials as required
• Ensure materials are secured and within weight limits
• Obtain customer signatures on delivery tickets
• Communicate with supervisor throughout the day
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Comply with DOT standards and company policies
• Fuel truck and report any issues, violations, or accidents
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed
• Represent the company professionally and provide quality customer service

• Work overtime as needed
• Operate vehicles with semi-trailers or trailers with two or more axles
• Combination vehicles over 26,001 lbs GVWR, with towed vehicles over 10,000 lbs GVWR
