TransForce is seeking a Yard coordinator -Pay rate: $20/hr. OT after 8 hours (Estimated weekly pay $840 - $1,120)
Shifts:
1-Sunday- Tuesday every other Wednesday 4pm-4am
1-Thursday-Saturday every other Wednesday 4pm-4am
Job Description:
- The Yard Coordinator supports Operations and customers by providing accurate on-time trailer positioning, temperature control, detailed trailer inventory, and vendor inbound/outbound traffic control as it pertains to yard our customer's yard.
- Works closely with both Yard Clerks and customer warehouse division in efficiently gathering and providing key information for data entry with utmost accuracy.
- This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: heavy attention to detail, customer service, communication, and multi-tasking.
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months heavy clerical/data entry and warehousing (preferably in logistics)
- Proven ability to work their feet for long periods of time. Extensive walking
- Proven verbal and written communication
- Excellent computer skills in MS Word, Excel, data entry, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Strong problem-solving and resourceful
- Physically climb in and out of trailers for inspection and cleaning purposes
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
