About the Position

Our client is seeking an experienced CDL A Flatbed Driver for dedicated regional operations based in Richmond, California. This position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, early morning start times, a dedicated route between Richmond and Reno, and daily home time.

Pay & Schedule

• Daily pay: $300 per day for the first 10 hours worked
• Additional pay: $30 per hour for all hours worked after the 10th hour
• Training pay: A separate training rate applies during the training period. Upon successful completion of training, drivers transition to the regular pay structure.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Start time: 2:00 a.m.
• Average workday: 9–10 hours
• Hours per week: 40
• Employment type: Dedicated

Job Details

• Route type: Dedicated regional route
• Route: Richmond, California, to Reno, Nevada, with a return trip to Richmond
• Freight: Pre-loaded outbound freight with a live unload in Reno
• Equipment: CDL A tractor and flatbed trailer
• Handling: No-touch freight; drivers are responsible for proper load securement and safe operation of equipment
• Return trip: Bobtail return to Richmond

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL A tractor and flatbed trailer on a dedicated regional route
• Transport freight between Richmond, California, and Reno, Nevada
• Ensure proper load securement in accordance with applicable safety requirements
• Complete live unload operations in Reno
• Conduct required equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all applicable transportation regulations

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A license
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Flatbed experience preferred
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Ability to safely secure and transport freight
