About the Position

Our client is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class B CDL Flatbed Delivery Driver for local deliveries throughout Orange County. This on-site role involves operating flatbed and pickup trucks with double-axle trailers, supporting warehouse operations, handling materials, and providing professional customer service.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay: $29.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Employment Type: Short-term flex
• Overtime: Available based on business needs

Job Details

• Route Type: Local routes serving the Orange County market
• Freight: Materials and customer orders
• Equipment: Flatbed trucks, pickup trucks, and double-axle trailers
• Handling: Loading, unloading, pulling, and staging materials; heavy-touch work
• Work Environment: Combination of driving and warehouse support

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver materials according to schedule.
• Verify delivery locations and directions.
• Secure loads properly and ensure they remain within legal weight limits.
• Obtain customer signatures on delivery tickets.
• Pick up customer returns and local purchase orders.
• Return delivery paperwork and packing lists.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain compliance with applicable DOT requirements.
• Fuel vehicles as needed.
• Promptly report accidents, vehicle defects, and moving violations.
• Assist with pulling and staging materials.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Operate a forklift as required.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Communicate professionally with customers and supervisors.
• Represent our client in a positive and professional manner.
• Ensure accurate and timely product deliveries.

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Required state-issued Non-Excepted Interstate Self-Certification.
• Ability to safely operate flatbed trucks, pickup trucks, and double-axle trailers.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Forklift experience preferred; certification may be provided.
