CDL A Intermodal Driver - Flex - Night Shift - $33 Per Hour 

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Compton, CA. 

 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday and occasional Saturday for special projects, schedule may vary due to low volumes Usually Fridays would be called off.

• Pay:  $33 Per Hour (No Hazmat) $34 Per Hour (w/ Hazmat) OT after 10 hours. $1,000 - $1,200 Estimated weekly pay

• Route Type: Local, from ports of LA/LB

• Freight / Load Type: General freight

• Equipment: Automatic trucks 

• Handling: No touch freight

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A 

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: TWIC card and Hazmat 

• Equipment Experience: 6 Months Port work

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

• Transport general freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
