Local Route CDL A Hazmat Driver - $29.10 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Hazmat driver to support local operations based in Enfield, CT. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, PM Shift, 10pm - 12pm Start time

• Pay:  $29.10 Per Hour, $1,100 - $1,300 Estimated weekly pay

• Route Type: Local, delivering no further South than Port Chester/Peekskill, NY (NO NYC/Long Island) Deliver up to NY, ME, VT, NH, MA (including Cape Cod)

• Freight / Load Type: Car Batteries and palletized freight

• Equipment: Straight Truck, 28' Trailer & 53' Trailer

• Handling: Touch freight, Electric pallet jack unload (occasional hand unload when customer does not have a dock)

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A 

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: Hazmat

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

• Transport car batteries and palletized freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks 

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
