About the Position

TransForce is seeking a Non-CDL Box Truck Driver to support local delivery operations in Berlin, Connecticut. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers steady work, consistent local routes, and the opportunity to join a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $24.00 per hour
• Employment Type: Temp to Perm
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Shift: First shift
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Home Time: Home daily

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company delivery vehicle on local routes.
• Deliver freight to storefronts and small warehouse locations.
• Load and unload freight using proper handling techniques.
• Verify deliveries and obtain required signatures.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and operations.
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and work environment.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Ability to safely load and unload freight.
• Ability to lift and handle freight as required.
