About the Position

TransForce is seeking a CDL B driver for a local touch freight position in Farmingville, New York. This role offers a consistent local opportunity for an experienced professional driver.

Pay & Schedule Details

Pay: $26 per hour OT after 40
Schedule: Monday through Friday schedule, 7:30 AM Start Time (8-9 hour shifts)
40 - 45 hours per week
Route type: Local
Freight: Touch freight, delivering pallets of tile with an electric pallet jack
Equipment: 26’ straight truck w/ an automatic transmission and lift gate
Handling: Light touch

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class B commercial vehicle on local routes.
Transport and deliver freight in accordance with assigned schedules.
Perform light-touch freight handling as required.
Conduct required vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
Maintain accurate delivery records and provide professional customer service.

Minimum Requirements

3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
Valid Class B CDL.
Consistent work history.
Previous touch experience.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
