About the Position

We're seeking an experienced Yard Driver who will safely move trailers throughout the yard, position trailers at dock doors, perform yard audits, and complete drop-and-hook operations.

Pay & Job Details

Pay:$25.00 per hour
Schedule:Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.
Route type:Local yard operations
Freight:No-touch
Equipment:Yard goats and trailers
Handling:Drop-and-hook operations, trailer spotting, and trailer movements

Key Responsibilities

Move trailers safely and accurately in and out of dock areas using yard goats.
Perform accurate yard audits at the end of each shift.
Complete proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Submit reports documenting truck conditions.
Follow safety guidelines related to safety-sensitive yard operations.
Complete drop-and-hook assignments.
Request and complete trailer moves using the Yard Management System.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

Class A CDL.
1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
Experience backing 48- to 53-foot trailers, including backing into tight spaces and dock doors.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
