About the Position

TransForce is seeking a Class A CDL Shuttle Driver for a local, second-shift shuttle position. This role offers daily home time with no layovers and involves timely deliveries between Villa Rica and Tallapoosa, Georgia.

Pay & Schedule

Pay rate: $27 per hour
Average weekly earnings: $1,000–$1,080
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Shift: 4:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Employment type: Short-term flex
Daily home time; no layovers required

Job Details

Route type: Local shuttle route
Route: Villa Rica, Georgia, to Tallapoosa, Georgia
Stops: Approximately 4–8 stops per night
Freight: No-touch freight
Equipment: 48–58-foot day cab truck
Handling: Lift gate operations may be required

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on a local shuttle route
Make scheduled deliveries between Villa Rica and Tallapoosa
Complete approximately 4–8 stops per night
Operate a 48–58-foot day cab truck
Follow all applicable safety and transportation regulations

Minimum Requirements

Class A CDL
1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Recent route delivery experience, including lift gate operations
Current DOT Medical Card
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Stable work history
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
