About the Position

TransForce is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Tanker Driver for a local operation based in Cartersville, Georgia. This position offers competitive hourly pay, bonus opportunities, and a consistent five-day workweek. Drivers will transport liquid products to asphalt and concrete plants using manual transmission tractor-trailers.

Pay & Schedule

• $36.00 per hour
• Annual pay target of $75,000 plus bonus opportunities
• Five days per week
• Start times between 5:00 AM and 8:00 AM
• Approximately 10-hour shifts

Job Details

• Route type: Local tanker deliveries
• Equipment: 13-speed manual transmission tractor-trailers
• Freight: Liquid products
• Delivery locations: Asphalt and concrete plants
• Handling: Loading and unloading using specialized liquid-transfer equipment

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL Class A tanker truck on assigned local routes.
• Transport liquid products to asphalt and concrete plants.
• Load and unload liquid freight using appropriate equipment and safety procedures.
• Inspect hoses, connections, and equipment before and after transfers.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and required documentation.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow all applicable DOT, FMCSA, and hazardous materials safety regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable Class A driving experience
• Ability to operate a 13-speed manual transmission
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record for the past 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
