About the Position

TransForce is seeking reliable, organized Office Dispatchers to support time-sensitive air courier delivery operations in La Porte, IN. We have four openings across day and overnight shifts, offering $27.28-$31.63 per hour depending on the schedule.

Dispatchers will coordinate deliveries, manage couriers and drivers, and ensure critical shipments arrive accurately and on time. This position requires strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Pay & Available Shifts

• Day Shift 1: $27.28/hr | 6 AM-6 PM | Sunday-Tuesday one week, Sunday-Wednesday the next

• Day Shift 2: $27.28/hr | 6 AM-6 PM | Wednesday-Saturday one week, Thursday-Saturday the next

• Night Shift 1: $31.63/hr | 6 PM-6 AM | Sunday-Tuesday one week, Sunday-Wednesday the next

• Night Shift 2: $31.63/hr | 6 PM-6 AM | Sunday-Tuesday one week, Sunday-Wednesday the next

• Shift Length: 12 hours

• Schedule: Rotating two-week schedule

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate time-sensitive deliveries and monitor shipment progress

• Dispatch and communicate with couriers and drivers to ensure timely deliveries

• Respond to customer and driver inquiries professionally

• Manage scheduling changes, delivery issues, and unexpected delays

• Maintain accurate records and update information using Microsoft Excel

• Prioritize multiple tasks and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Requirements

• Previous administrative or dispatch experience

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette

• Detail-oriented with reliable attendance

• Ability to work independently and coordinate with drivers and customers
