About the Position
TransForce is seeking experienced CDL Class A Shuttle Drivers for an opportunity with one of the world's largest logistics companies in Kansas City, Missouri. This position offers competitive hourly pay, consistent Monday-through-Friday work, home daily, and benefits starting on Day 1. Drivers will operate modern equipment, moving trailers between loading doors in a stable, safety-focused environment.
Pay & Schedule
- $32.50 per hour
- Overtime after 40 hours
- Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Shift: 2nd shift. Local shuttle operation, home daily
- Consistent pay increases
Job Details
- Route type: Local shuttle and yard operations
- Equipment: 53-foot tractor-trailers
- Equipment: Late-model, well-maintained trucks
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a CDL Class A tractor-trailer on assigned shuttle routes.
- Move 53-foot trailers safely in and out of loading doors.
- Inspect trailers and verify load securement before movement.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate driving logs and required documentation.
- Follow all applicable DOT and company safety regulations.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license
- 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable Class A driving experience within the last 3 years
- Experience operating trailers 48 feet or longer
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations in the past 2 years
- Valid DOT medical card
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
