Local CDL A Truck Driver - $22 Per Hour - Benefits 

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local routes in Lafayette, LA.

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 6am Start

• Pay:  $22 Per Hour

• Route Type: Local 
• Freight / Load Type: Delivering Electrical Supplies to customers

• Equipment: Day cab 48' and 53'. Automatic Transmission

• Handling:  Driver loads their own trucks with sit-down forklifts but the customer unloads.

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 2+ Years of CDL A experience

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A on local routes 

• Transport electrical supplies in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including, loading their own trucks with sit-down forklifts 

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
