About the Position

TransForce is seeking an experienced Delivery Driver for a local food distribution operation based in Boston, Massachusetts. This position offers competitive hourly pay, a consistent Monday-through-Friday schedule, and home daily. Drivers will deliver food products from a warehouse to food banks throughout Eastern Massachusetts, including Cape Cod and areas near the New Hampshire border.

Pay & Schedule

• $28.36 per hour
• Overtime after 40 hours
• Monday through Friday
• Start time between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM
• Typical finish around 3:30 PM

Job Details

• Route type: Local food distribution
• Delivery area: Eastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod, and areas near the New Hampshire border
• Freight: Food products
• Stops: Approximately 3–5 deliveries per day
• Handling: Liftgate deliveries and some cross-dock operations
• Drivers must be willing to break down pallets and consolidate freight on the truck

Key Responsibilities

• Transport food products safely from the warehouse to food banks and distribution locations.
• Complete 3–5 deliveries per day on assigned routes.
• Operate liftgate equipment to safely unload freight.
• Break down pallets, organize products, and consolidate loads as needed.
• Assist with cross-dock deliveries when required.
• Verify freight and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow all applicable DOT and company safety regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver's license appropriate for the assigned vehicle
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable commercial driving experience
• 5+ years of professional driving experience preferred
• Experience with liftgate deliveries and pallet handling preferred
• Must meet all applicable DOT requirements
