About the Position

TransForce is seeking CDL A Truck Drivers to support local operations in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. This on-site, temp-to-perm opportunity offers steady local work, competitive hourly pay, and the potential for long-term employment.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $29.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Shift start times: 5:00 AM for the morning shift or 3:00 PM for the afternoon shift
Hours: 40 hours per week
Employment type: Temp to perm
Start date: May 18, 2026

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on local routes.
Transport industrial equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.
Complete accurate pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork.
Secure freight using proper strapping procedures.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
