Local CDL-A Yard Jockey – Jessup, MD

TransForce is seeking a CDL-A Yard Jockey to support local yard operations based in Jessup, MD.

CDL-A Driver Details:

• Location: Jessup, MD

• Schedule: Friday–Monday

• Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Pay: $25.00 per hour

• Overtime: Time and a half after 40 hours

• Position Type: Local Yard Jockey

• Equipment: CDL-A Yard Tractor / Yard Truck

• Route Type: On-site yard operations

CDL-A Driver Minimum Requirements:

• License: Valid CDL-A

• Experience: At least 1 year of verified CDL-A driving experience within the last 3 years

• MVR: Clean Motor Vehicle Record

• PSP: Clean Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) record

• Ability to safely maneuver and position trailers in a yard environment

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL-A Driver Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a yard truck to move trailers around the facility

• Spot trailers at designated dock doors and staging areas

• Perform trailer movements as directed by yard personnel

• Conduct required vehicle inspections

• Maintain communication with dispatch and warehouse personnel

• Follow all company and facility safety procedures
