About the Position

TransForce is seeking experienced CDL A Drivers for a 2nd shift truck driving position in Detroit, MI, supporting an automotive manufacturing facility. This opportunity offers $25 per hour, overtime after 40 hours, and approximately 50 hours per week. Drivers will transport automotive parts using drop-and-hook operations with no-touch freight.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $25 per hour

• Overtime: After 40 hours

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, with Saturdays as needed

• Start Time: 3 PM

• Hours: Approximately 50 hours per week

Job Details

• Freight: Automotive parts

• Freight Handling: No-touch, drop-and-hook

• Equipment: Tractor-trailer, potentially manual transmission

• Duties: Transport automotive parts, complete drop-and-hook operations, and chain and secure loads before transport

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A

• At least 1 year of verifiable CDL A driving experience

• Ability to safely chain and secure loads

• Ability to operate manual transmission equipment if assigned

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
