About the Position

TransForce is seeking experienced CDL Class A Drivers in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This position offers competitive pay, modern automatic equipment, and dedicated routes delivering fresh food products to customers throughout the Midwest. Drivers will operate assigned day cabs or sleeper trucks, with no loading or unloading required.

Pay & Schedule

• $0.60 per mile on regional routes and local routes starting at $25/hr
• Estimated annual earnings of $84,000–$120,000
  • $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over the first 12 months
  • $4,000 annual safety and performance bonus, paid
• Monday through Saturday, with dispatch times between 11:00 PM and 3:00 AM
  • Shifts averaging 12–14 hours per day

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL Class A tractor-trailer on assigned local and regional delivery routes.
• Transport fresh food products safely and on schedule.
• Complete deliveries throughout Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, and Wisconsin.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and proof-of-delivery documentation.
• Communicate delivery delays, route concerns, or scheduling changes with dispatch.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and follow all food transportation safety procedures.
• Follow all applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable Class A driving experience
• Valid CDL Class A license
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Flexibility to operate local or regional routes as assigned
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
