Local CDL A Flatbed Drivers - $27 Per Hour - OT 

TransForce is seeking a CDL A flatbed driver to support local operations based in St Louis, MO.

Direct Hire

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 5am Sharp NO EXCEPTIONS
  Averages 60-65 hours per week

• Pay: $27 Per Hour + OT after 40 hours
• Must be able to work hard and in very hot environment at 10 - 12 +/- hours per day

• Route Type: Local home daily, may deliver as far as 250 miles out in any direction

• Freight / Load Type: Steel coils and beams

• Equipment:  International & Freightliner day cabs (2023 – 2024) 

• Handling: Will secure load as needed and strap & unstrap at delivery site, Driver will be loaded daily by forklift driver and expected to spot the forklift operator as needed

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A  

• Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: None

• Equipment Experience: 6-12 months heavy haul or oversized loads experience preferred not required

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A flatbed on local routes 

• Transport heavy steel equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks  

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
