About the Position

Our client is seeking a dependable CDL A Driver for regional food delivery routes based in Valmeyer, Illinois. This long-term flex opportunity offers competitive hourly pay, overtime after 40 hours, and consistent regional work involving heavy-touch freight.

Pay & Schedule Details

• $32.25 per hour
• Overtime paid after 40 hours
• 40 hours per week
• Start times between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
• Workdays may vary
• Typically 1–2 layovers per week
• Workdays generally range from 10–12 hours
• Overnight stays are provided in hotels, not in the truck

Job Details

• Regional routes covering Missouri, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky
• Food and grocery freight
• Heavy-touch freight handling
• Loading and unloading of food items required
• On-site position

Key Responsibilities

• Transport goods safely and efficiently over regional routes
• Load and unload food products
• Handle heavy-touch freight throughout the delivery process
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Follow all applicable safety and transportation regulations

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A license
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• At least 6 months of food delivery experience
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
