About the Position
We are currently seeking a CDL B Driver for a local position in Raleigh, North Carolina. The driver will be responsible for delivering medical equipment and supplies, ensuring timely and safe delivery to clinics and homes.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $24.50 per hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- May be required to start as early as 5:00 AM depending on route needs
Job Details
- Route Type: Local
- Freight: Medical equipment and supplies, primarily renal care supplies including IV bags, medications, and some dialysis machines
- Handling: High-touch position with delicate products requiring care and attention
- Employment Type: Temp to Perm
- Opportunity for Temp to Hire after 90 days
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver medical equipment and supplies to clinics and homes
- Ensure products arrive safely and timely to patients, residences, hospitals, and clinics
- Maintain utmost respect for clients during deliveries
Minimum Requirements
- 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
- Valid CDL B
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
