About the Position

TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL Class B truck driver to support local operations in Durham, North Carolina. This dedicated, on-site position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, home-daily routes, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule Details

Pay: $28.50 per hour
Overtime: Overtime after 40 hours
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with occasional Saturdays
Hours: 40 hours per week
Route: Local routes with daily home time

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a rear-pack truck on local routes.
Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.
Perform required light-touch handling tasks.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
Meet the physical demands of the position.

Minimum Requirements

Valid CDL Class B license.
1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
No endorsements required.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
