About the Position

TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Regional Driver for a dedicated automotive freight operation based in Statesville, North Carolina. This position offers a consistent, predictable schedule with alternating long and short weeks, no-touch freight, and regular home time. Drivers will complete overnight relay runs between Statesville, NC, and Bellefontaine, OH, with hotel accommodations for their required rest periods.

Pay & Schedule

• $450 per run. Average weekly pay: $1,125 over the two-week rotation
• Alternating long and short weeks
  • Long week: Sunday/Monday, Tuesday/Wednesday, and Thursday/Friday
  • Short week: Monday/Tuesday and Wednesday/Thursday
• Departure typically between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM
• Return approximately 4:00 PM the following day
• Overnight hotel stay with a required 10-hour rest period
• Consistent home time between scheduled runs

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL Class A tractor-trailer on assigned regional relay routes.
• Transport automotive freight safely between Statesville, NC, and Bellefontaine, OH.
• Meet another driver at the designated relay location before completing the return trip.
• Follow assigned departure and delivery schedules.
• Complete required overnight rest periods before returning to Statesville.
• Communicate route delays or operational concerns with dispatch.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate trip documentation and comply with Hours of Service regulations.
• Follow all applicable safety and transportation regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license
• 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable Class A tractor-trailer driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Ability to meet required DOT qualification and safety screening standards
• Availability to work the alternating long-week and short-week schedule
• Comfortable with overnight regional routes and hotel layovers
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
