TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL A Delivery Driver to support local operations based in Charlotte, NC. The driver should have previous freight delivery and customer-facing experience. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Delivery Driver Details 

• Schedule: M-F, 7 AM start, 8-10 hour shifts, 40+ hours per week. 

• Pay:  $26/hr 

• Route Type: local

• Freight / Load Type: Food deliveries to markets and warehouses

• Handling: Heavy touch (pallet jacks, dolly, lift gate) 

CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A 

• Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Equipment Experience: tractor trailer and freight delivery experience

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Delivery Driver Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate 36' tractor trailer on local routes - city driving

• Transport food in accordance with DOT and company safety standards to warehouses and storefronts

• Perform required handling tasks including loading trucks with pallet jack/dolly

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including the ability to safely lift 50 lbs
