CDL A Truck Driver | $23 Per Hour | Hickory, NC  

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Hickory, NC. 

CDL A Truck Driver Details 

• Schedule: M-F, 6:30-7AM start, 8+ hour shifts, 40+ hours per week. 

• Pay:  $23 Per Hour

• Route Type: local

• Freight / Load Type: Packaging materials

• Equipment: Automatic. Dry van/tractor trailer - 53 foot.

• Handling: Light touch - some loading and unloading 

CDL A Truck Driver Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents!) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Truck Driver Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate an automatic truck with dry van/55' tractor trailer on local routes 

• Transport packaging materials in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including some loading and unloading with a pallet jack 

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations, and customers (this is a customer-facing role for deliveries)

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including some loading and unloading
