About the Position
TransForce is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Yard Jockey for a part-time position in Swedesboro, New Jersey. This opportunity offers a consistent two-day schedule with daytime hours, ideal for drivers looking for reliable part-time work.
Pay & Schedule
- $25.30 per hour
- Approximately $450 per week
- Part-time: Thursday and Friday
- 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Consistent weekly schedule
Job Details
- Position: Yard Jockey / Yard Spotter
- Location: Swedesboro, NJ
- Equipment: CDL Class A tractor-trailers
- Work environment: Yard and facility operations
Key Responsibilities
- Safely move and position trailers throughout the facility yard.
- Spot trailers at loading docks and designated parking areas.
- Coordinate trailer movements with warehouse and yard personnel.
- Perform equipment inspections and report any safety concerns.
- Maintain an organized and safe yard environment.
- Follow all applicable DOT and company safety procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable Class A driving experience
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record, with no reckless driving or repeated serious traffic violations
- Ability to safely maneuver and back tractor-trailers in confined yard spaces
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
