About the Position

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver to support local operations in Rochester, New York. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. The assignment is temporary-to-permanent.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $31.45 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours
Estimated weekly pay: $1,800
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Start time: Between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., depending on the route
Hours: 40 hours per week
Start date: August 4, 2026

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes.
Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.
Perform required handling tasks, including strapping and tarping.
Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations.
Perform the physical duties associated with flatbed operations, including climbing, strapping, and tarping.

Minimum Requirements

Valid CDL A license.
1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
No endorsements required.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
