About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL A Yard Jockey for a local, on-site position in Avon, New York. This no-touch role involves moving trailers within the yard and handling local pallet pickups and returns.

Pay & Schedule

• $28 per hour
• Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• 40 hours per week
• Temp-to-perm employment

Job Details

• Route type: Local

• Handling: No-touch, drop-and-hook operations

Key Responsibilities

• Move trailers safely and efficiently throughout the yard.
• Complete local pallet pickups and returns.
• Perform drop-and-hook operations.
• Follow all applicable safety and operational procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
