CDL A Local Shuttle Driver Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Pay: $29.00 per hour
• Route Type: Local shuttle
• Freight and Load Type: Drop-and-hook loads
• Equipment: 48-foot flatbed trailer
• Handling: Drop and hook

CDL A Local Shuttle Driver Minimum Requirements

• At least three months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Flatbed experience is not required
• Clean motor vehicle record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents within the last three years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Local Shuttle Driver Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 48-foot flatbed trailer on local shuttle routes
• Complete drop-and-hook assignments safely and efficiently
• Follow all DOT and company safety standards
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
