About the Position

Our client is seeking dependable Class A CDL drivers for a local flatbed driving position in the Marysville, Ohio area. Drivers will transport lumber and building materials while operating a day cab with a 45- to 48-foot flatbed. This is a home-daily opportunity with consistent Monday-through-Friday work.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay: $27.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Start time: 6:30–7:00 a.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Home time: Home daily

Job Details

• Route: Local routes within approximately 30 miles of the Marysville, Ohio area
• Freight: Lumber and building materials
• Equipment: Day cab with a 45- to 48-foot flatbed
• Handling: Secure freight with straps and assist with unloading using a Moffett
• Training: Training provided on Moffett operation and flatbed procedures

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate the assigned tractor and flatbed equipment
• Secure loads properly using straps and other required equipment
• Assist with unloading freight using a Moffett
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety standards
• Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel
• Meet the physical demands of loading, securing, and unloading freight

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Ability to wear steel-toed boots
• Strong communication skills
• Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
