About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL A Yard Jockey for local yard moves and trailer shuttles between vendors and distribution centers. This on-site position offers no-touch freight, consistent Monday through Friday work, and support from a dedicated TransForce team.

Pay & Schedule

Pay rate: $29 per hour
Estimated weekly gross: $1,200
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Typical shift: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with hours varying based on operational needs
Hours per week: 40
Employment type: Long-term flex
Start date: September 21, 2026

Key Responsibilities

Move trailers from the yard to the dock door and back.
Shuttle trailers to and from vendors and distribution centers.
Perform local yard moves safely and efficiently.
Handle no-touch freight operations.

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A commercial driver’s license.
6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
Must be at least 21 years old.
