About the Position

Our client is seeking dependable CDL B Drivers to support local delivery operations in Allentown. This direct-hire opportunity involves transporting refrigerated and non-refrigerated beverages and food items using automatic trucks.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $29.38 per hour, plus overtime
• Schedule: Seven-day operation; drivers will work four to five days per week
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Direct hire

Job Details

• Route Type: Local
• Freight: Refrigerated and non-refrigerated beverages and food items
• Equipment: Automatic trucks
• Handling: Touch freight, including unloading with a pallet jack and dolly, with some hand unloading

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class B vehicles on local routes
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Unload freight using a pallet jack, dolly, and by hand as required
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL Class B license
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
