About the Position

TransForce is seeking experienced CDL Class B Drivers for a local nighttime delivery operation based in Alburtis, Pennsylvania. This position offers competitive hourly pay, overtime opportunities, a consistent Sunday-through-Thursday schedule, and home daily. Drivers will deliver telecommunications equipment and materials to warehouses and substations using automatic straight trucks equipped with liftgates.

Previous nighttime driving and touch-delivery experience is required.

Pay & Schedule

• $25.00 per hour plus overtime
• Sunday through Thursday
• Start time between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM
• 10–12 hour shifts

Job Details

• Route type: Local nighttime deliveries
• Delivery area: Pennsylvania, including Philadelphia; no New York City routes
• Equipment: Automatic straight trucks with liftgates
• Freight: Telecommunications equipment and materials
• Handling: Touch freight using pallet jacks and hand trucks
• Stops: Approximately 5–10 deliveries per night
• Delivery locations: Warehouses and substations with after-hours access

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL Class B straight truck safely on assigned nighttime delivery routes.
• Deliver equipment and materials to warehouses and substations.
• Load and unload freight using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and liftgates.
• Use assigned keys and access codes to complete after-hours deliveries.
• Verify deliveries and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow all applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL Class B license
• 6-12+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Previous nighttime commercial driving experience required
• Previous touch-freight delivery experience required
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and liftgates
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
