About the Position

TransForce is seeking a qualified CDL A Driver to support local operations for our client in Reading, Pennsylvania. This long-term flex opportunity offers steady work, reliable scheduling, home-daily routes, and a driver-focused team environment.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $28 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours
• Schedule: Monday through Friday with start times between midnight and 6:00 a.m.
• Work Week: Four-day work week
• Home Time: Home daily
• Employment Type: Long-term flex
• Anticipated Start Date: April 2, 2026

Job Details

• Route Type: Local routes, with occasional layovers possible
• Freight: No-touch freight
• Equipment: CDL A equipment with manual transmission
• Handling: No-touch freight handling

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Complete required handling tasks
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the role

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Manual transmission experience
• Tanker endorsement required after 30 days of hire
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
