About the Position

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local yard and shuttle operations for our client in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania. This on-site position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $29.50 per hour
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Hours: 10:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Hours per week: 40
Employment type: Temp to perm
Work setting: On-site

Job Details

Route type: Local delivery; primarily yard jockey work with occasional local shuttle runs
Freight: Shuttling trailers
Equipment: Day cab and yard truck
Handling: Yard jockey and shuttle operations
Touch freight: No touch

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes and within the yard
Shuttle trailers in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
Perform required yard jockey and shuttle handling tasks
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
Meet the physical demands of the role

Minimum Requirements

Valid CDL A license
6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
No endorsements required
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
