About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations in Columbia, Pennsylvania. This on-site, temp-to-perm opportunity offers consistent weekday work, competitive weekly pay, and opportunities for long-term employment.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $1,200–$1,500 weekly average
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Start time: Between 4:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment type: Temp to Perm

Job Details

• Route type: Local
• Freight: Cardboard
• Equipment: Automatic trucks
• Handling: Touch freight, including unloading with a pallet jack
• Trailers are equipped with liftgates

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A vehicles on local routes
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and safety standards
• Complete required handling tasks, including unloading freight with a pallet jack
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
