About the Position

TransForce is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Flatbed Driver for a long-term dedicated delivery operation in Nashville, Tennessee. This position offers consistent Monday-through-Friday work, home daily, and additional earnings for strapped loads. Drivers will operate local routes within a 250-mile radius of Nashville, transporting flatbed freight and ensuring loads are properly secured.

Pay & Schedule

• $300 per day plus $30 per strapped load ($1,500/week)
• Monday through Friday
• Paid training at $200 per day, including per diem

Job Details

• Route type: Dedicated local flatbed deliveries
• Handling: Strapping and securing loads
• Coverage area: Nashville, TN, and surrounding areas within 250 miles
• Training: Paid orientation covering ELD systems, dispatch procedures, and paperwork requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL Class A flatbed truck on assigned local delivery routes.
• Transport freight safely to customer locations within the Nashville area.
• Properly strap and secure loads according to cargo securement requirements.
• Inspect load securement before departure and throughout the trip as required.
• Maintain communication with dispatch regarding routes, schedules, and delivery concerns.
• Complete required driving logs and delivery paperwork accurately.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Provide professional customer service at delivery locations.
• Follow all applicable DOT and FMCSA safety regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable flatbed driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Experience with flatbed load securement and strapping
• Ability to meet required DOT qualification and safety screening standards
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
