Operations Manager | Maryville, TN | Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

TransForce is hiring a dedicated Operations Manager for a temp-to-hire position in Maryville, TN. This role offers a $60,000/year starting salary with competitive benefits after 60 days.

Essential Functions:

• Experience: 2+ years in the trucking industry, preferably as a Driver Manager or Dispatcher
• Knowledge: Thorough understanding of FMCSA and DOT rules/regulations
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), excellent customer relations, and strong communication

Duties:

• Dispatching and scheduling drivers to ensure on-time departures
• Maintaining driver compliance with safety and administrative policies
• Tracking and communicating with drivers via GPS and phone
• Managing equipment maintenance and operations systems
• Completing accident reports and managing OOS tickets/violations
• Updating spreadsheets and filing paperwork

Schedule:

• Hours: 6am -3pm
• On-Call: Weekly rotation required
