CDL A Driver | $30/hr | Hyattsville, MD

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Hyattsville, MD. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Driver Details 

• Schedule: 5-day schedule incl w/ends, 1am - 4am start time, 2 consecutive days off in the week
• Pay: $30/hr 
• Route Type: Local
• Freight / Load Type: Delivering cases of milk to customers in the DMV area.
• Handling: Unloading pallets with an electric jack and pallet breakdowns at certain stops.

CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A
• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Driver Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate equipment on local routes 
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
• Perform required handling tasks, including unloading with an electric pallet jack
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 
• Meet the physical demands of the role
