About the Position

Our client is seeking experienced Regional CDL A Drivers for a temporary-to-permanent opportunity based in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Drivers will operate a sleeper unit with a 53-foot refrigerated trailer on multi-stop food product routes across multiple states.

This on-site driving opportunity offers support from a dedicated TransForce team and primarily involves no-touch freight.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $35 per hour
• Overtime available after 40 hours
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Days may vary
• Start times typically range from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
• Most routes include 2 to 3 nights away from home, with longer layovers possible based on distance and backhaul availability
• Regional routes based in Harrisonburg, Virginia
• Employment type: Temporary to permanent
• Anticipated start date: August 10, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a sleeper unit with a 53-foot refrigerated trailer on regional routes
• Pick up and deliver food products from warehouses and distribution centers
• Complete multiple stops safely and efficiently across assigned routes
• Maintain compliance with all applicable transportation regulations and safety standards

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Experience operating Class A equipment with 53-foot refrigerated trailers
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
