About the Position

Our client is seeking CDL A OTR Drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity based in Colonial Heights, Virginia. This position offers no-touch freight, reliable weekly miles, and dedicated support from TransForce.

Pay & Schedule

Pay rate: $0.65 per mile
Estimated weekly gross pay: $1,500
Average miles: 2,150 per week
Hours: 40 per week
Employment type: Temp to Perm
Start date: July 27, 2026

Job Details

Route type: Over-the-road
Freight: No-touch refrigerated freight
Equipment: Reefer trailer and sleeper cab
Typical routes include Louisville, Kentucky; Cincinnati and Cleveland, Ohio; Harmony, Pennsylvania; and possible routes in southern North Carolina
Approximately 3–4 layovers per week

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a CDL A tractor-trailer on assigned OTR routes
Transport refrigerated freight while following all applicable safety and transportation regulations
Complete assigned routes and deliveries in a timely and professional manner
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively regarding shipment and route updates

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
