Job Details

This local yard jockey role in Prince George, Virginia pays $27 per hour. You will move domestic trailers within a facility yard using a yard truck or yard hostler, with no public-road driving required. This TransForce opportunity offers a consistent overnight schedule and support from a dedicated TransForce team.

Pay & Schedule

• $27 per hour
• Estimated $810 per week
• Friday through Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Local, on-site position in Prince George, Virginia

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate a yard truck or yard hostler to move and position domestic trailers within the facility yard.
• Connect and disconnect trailers using a hydraulic fifth wheel, air lines, wheel chocks, and glad hand locks.
• Follow site procedures and safety requirements while performing light-touch yard movements.

What You Need

• Valid CDL A or Valid CDL B or Valid Driver's License
• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Valid Med Card
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
