Pacemaker and ICD Specialist
Duties
Functions of assigned duties:
Independently perform and interpret device interrogations for pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices, and ILRs in collaboration with electrophysiology physician as appropriate.
Perform device reprogramming following clinical guidelines and manufacturer specifications ILRs in collaboration with electrophysiology physician as appropriate.
Evaluate CIED diagnostics, including arrhythmia trends, lead integrity, battery longevity, and system alerts.
Manage arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation, SVT, VT, bradyarrhythmias, and conduction disease.
Order and interpret cardiac rhythm study reports including ECGs, Holter monitors, Zio patches, ILR reports, and EP diagnostic tests.
Coordinate diagnostic testing and medical optimization to ensure procedural readiness.
