Deliver ready-mix concrete and other associated products to construction sites within our production areas. This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete. Description. Perform daily Department of Transportation pre- and post-trip truck inspection including checking all fluids such as oil and antifreeze. Perform routine plant maintenance tasks, general cleaning, use small power tools and manual labor hand tools. Receive delivery ticket. Review for address and directions as well as any additional products needed for the job. Clarify any concerns with dispatcher. Add various ingredients such as fiber, admixtures, and other products as directed on delivery ticket. Check slumps and mix of concrete. Place chutes from fender to main chute of truck. Have delivery ticket signed and assure all information required is written down. Responsible for collecting C. O. D. deliveries in full and return to the Company.
