Behind every candle is a hardworking team that keeps things moving!Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Equipment Operator Details:Temporary position$ 24.00 to $ 25.00 / hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredVarious shifts availableMonday through Friday1st shift 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM2nd shift 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm3rd shift 10:30 pm to 6:30 amSafely and efficiently operate a variety of material handling equipment, including Reach Trucks, Turret Trucks, Sit-Down Forklifts, Stand-Up Forklifts, hand and powered pallet movers, banders and shrink wrappers.Move, stack, load, and unload raw materials, finished goods, and equipment throughout the warehouse.Unloads and stores material in proper locations and perform receiving transactions. Use of RF Scanner.Detects and reports improper operations, faulty equipment/ tooling, defective materials, and unusual conditions to supervisor.Count items and audit for package/ shipping damage.Equipment Operator Qualifications:High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50-75 lbs.Valid Drivers LicenseProlonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, and the ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.1-4 years of PIT operating experience.Ability to work around strong odors and fragrances.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
